Immediately following yesterday’s unanticipated announcement by President Biden, members of the cannabis industry began issuing statements applauding the three steps initiated by the president, with all expressing their joy and appreciation for the pardon of “all prior Federal offenses of simple possession of marijuana,” and many expressing their hope that these moves signal the president’s willingness to make the actual changes needed to get the cannabis industry on a par with other industries. We are reprinting, in no particular order and with permission, the statements sent to us, and will add new ones as they come.
